Fotan Artists Open Studio 2009

By visiting the numerous of Fotanian’s studios, I could see the passions squeezing from their “Home Mixed” workshops. Curiosity is not only limited to the final piece, but the whole atmosphere of artist’s paradise by being close with each production participants, especially the suite of home furniture: bed, bathroom, sofa, TV, Video Game and kitchen. It can show their spirit in Art have been pushed to the top level by sticking in there day by day, night by night.

Well done of each individuals as it has created an installation art in the industrial building, each funny cube, (including other activities of units, like food manufacture factory, advertising firm, Chinese clinic etc) has presenting their own rhythm and smell. Example could be found in Blue Lotus Gallery (relaxing, natural, simple, unrealistic by using white as main studio colour, provide plenty of space to breath and a bed in the center), Studio 1023 (exciting, warm by posting out high density of movie poster’s art works, huge size of bookshelves and usage of orange lights). The mixture of different atmospheres within the buildings make them become much more interesting.
